Kids Connect is available to West Bloomfield students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Our mission is to provide each child with a strong foundation for life-long learning and inspiration to excel through a challenging curriculum focused on academics as well as social-emotional development in a safe, nurturing environment.
West Bloomfield Wrestling Club will focus on developing the fundamentals of folk-style wrestling, while also focusing on the discipline and mental toughness that are needed to be successful in the sport. In addition, building a love for the sport through various games and fun competitions is a primary goal. We welcome all levels of wrestlers, from first year and beyond. Leading the program are West Bloomfield's own middle school wrestling coaches, Coach DeGrand, Coach Zimnicki, and Coach Hitchcock, as well as WBHS Assistant Wrestling Coach, Coach Acosta. Additionally, we are lucky to have Coach Burzynski and Coach Goidosik to top off our coaching staff. The experience, expertise, and passion from all of our coaches result in a team that is able to provide unparalleled support for youth wrestlers. The program also welcomes and encourages parent support during practices. Wrestlers will have the opportunity to participate in multiple MYWAY competitions throughout the season. These are considered optional, but certainly encouraged if your child is ready to put their skills to the test. We look forward to seeing your child on the mat!

Fall Season Only- $175 (1st child); $125 (siblings); November 4-January 15
Winter Season Only- $175 (1st child); $125 (siblings); January 20-March 17
Required Equipment: Wrestling shoes, headgear (competitions only), mouthguard (wrestlers with braces). Optional Equipment: Headgear (for practice), knee pad/sleeveThere will be an online store open at the beginning of the Fall season to purchase optional apparel/gear items.
WBWC follows the WBSD schedule- no practice during breaks/off days, including Snow Days
