5th Grade Intramural Basketball Season at Scotch Elementary Gym
This season is open to ANY student in the 5th Grade, boy or girl, interested in learning how to play the game of basketball in a team atmosphere.

Boys Practice Schedule is every WEDNESDAY
Girls Practice Schedule is every FRIDAY (NO PRACTICE on 2/20, practice will be on 2/17)

The cost to participate in this year’s program is $75. There is an additional $15 fee for a Scotch School basketball jersey. Please make the $15.00 check payable to Scotch Elementary. The primary focus of the program is to introduce and teach students the basic fundamentals of basketball. These include playing defense, dribbling, shooting, passing, and rebounding. Good sportsmanship and teamwork will also be emphasized.

Mrs. Pulliam will be coaching the girls team and Mr. Scrivo will coach the boys. We are looking forward to this season and are eager to get things started. It is essential that your son or daughter attend all practice sessions in order to build and improve on their individual skills, as well as, being team players.

  • Wear or pack proper gym clothes and gym shoes
  • Bring a water bottle/snack
