Kids Connect and WBPA Kids Connect is available to West Bloomfield students from Preschool through 5th grade.
Indoor/outdoor activities, hands-on learning fun, creative arts, on-site assemblies and field trips.
Our mission is to provide each child with a strong foundation for life-long learning and inspiration to excel through a challenging curriculum focused on academics as well as social-emotional development in a safe, nurturing environment.
Join us for an exciting After the Bell Coding Class where students will explore the world of computer programming in a fun, hands-on environment! In this class, students will learn the basics of coding through engaging platforms such as Spike, Scratch, and other interactive coding activities.
Students will design simple programs, create animations and games, and explore how coding can be used to solve problems and bring ideas to life. Through collaboration and creative challenges, participants will build confidence in their technology skills while learning important problem-solving and computational thinking strategies.
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate learners, so whether students are just starting out or already have some experience with coding, they will find activities that challenge and inspire them.
The class will be taught by Amy Quinn, Elementary Curriculum Coordinator, and will focus on making coding fun, engaging, and hands-on for all participants.
