Kids Connect and WBPA Kids Connect is available to West Bloomfield students from Preschool through 5th grade.
Indoor/outdoor activities, hands-on learning fun, creative arts, on-site assemblies and field trips.
Our mission is to provide each child with a strong foundation for life-long learning and inspiration to excel through a challenging curriculum focused on academics as well as social-emotional development in a safe, nurturing environment.
Step into the spotlight and explore the exciting world of media production in this two-week, half-day camp at West Bloomfield High School. Students will gain hands-on experience in filming, editing, anchoring, and directing while creating their own news stories, public service announcements, and newscasts using professional equipment. Guided by experienced members of the Laker Update crew, participants will build real-world storytelling skills and confidence as content creators. The program concludes with a red carpet showcase to celebrate student work.
